I’ll start by straight out saying that I have to give Eric and his team the absolute highest recommendation. Eric and his team are the best we have ever worked with. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Eric S Perry Design and Build.
We own a Chapel Hill home that was built in 1970. It was neglected by the previous owner and after 46 years, it needs a lot of work. Last year, we started working with Eric and his team, and after a few months we have finished a very large, complete gut and remodel of our kitchen, living, and dining room. All the rooms are now part of a new open space in the redesigned floorplan. Our awful, enclosed 1970s kitchen was replaced with an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING new contemporary, modern, open floorplan kitchen.
We also did a complete renovation of a guest bathroom. The horrid 1970s green tile, green tub, green sink and matching green toilet (yes…green toilet) were completely gutted and replaced with beautiful new finishes and a large, open, glass standup shower.
During our initial consultation and planning meetings, Eric and Violet (Eric’s wife and designer) listened what we wanted and Violet helped come up with a great design, plan and budget. They are so easy and a pleasure to work with. You quickly find out that they are really looking out for you. It is so refreshing to have someone keeping an eye out on your budget without compromising on quality or cutting corners.
Eric’s attention to detail and quality is commendable. He is a true professional. He is hardworking, highly skilled and has an amazing team. The craftsmanship by Eric and Shannon (Eric’s right-hand man) is unmatched by anyone. Between Eric’s expert woodworking skills, Shannon’s beautiful work on tile and the rest of his team, everything was taken care of. Eric ensures that all of his team completes the work up to his standards. Everyone on the team is very professional and friendly.
Communication was also excellent. He was onsite at my house EVERYDAY to meet with me and discuss the status. He will keep you informed of what is coming up and when homeowner decisions need to be made by you. When I was out of town or not available, Eric kept me informed with photos and texts.
ESP is 5-stars on Houzz and completely worth it. You HAVE to give Eric a call to at least have a consultation with him before deciding on anyone. Our 1970s home needs a LOT of love and we will be giving him a call again. We are so glad that it is a no brainer to call ESP for our next project.
